Msphere Privacy Policy

Msphere Inc. ("Msphere") is committed to protecting the privacy of educational institutions, their staff, students, and families.

1. Information We Collect

Msphere collects information provided directly by School administrators and staff, including:

• School and staff profile information
• Student educational records (as directed by School)
• Classroom and progress data
• Usage and log data for platform operations

2. How We Use Information

Msphere uses collected information solely to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the platform
• Respond to support requests
• Generate analytics and reports for authorized school staff
• Measure anonymous product usage on the production app via Google Analytics (no student data in analytics events)
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Sharing of Information

Msphere does not sell School Data. We may share data with:

• Subprocessors necessary to deliver contracted services (under confidentiality obligations)
• Law enforcement when required by valid legal process

4. Data Retention

School Data is retained for the duration of the service agreement plus any legally required retention period. Upon termination, School may request export and deletion.

5. FERPA and Student Privacy

Msphere operates as a School Official under FERPA and handles student data only under School's direction and within the scope of contracted educational services.

6. Security

Msphere uses industry-standard security controls including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and audit logging. See the Security and AI Addendum for details.

7. Cookies

Msphere uses session cookies required for authentication. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
